Tax/Utility Office

Office Hours: Monday thru Friday 9:00AM - 4:30PM

Property Tax payments are due each year on:

February 1st

May 1st

August 1st

November 1st

There is a 10 day grace period, but please note - if taxes are received after the grace period, interest will be charged back to the first day of the respective month. Tax Bills and Sewer Bills are mailed annually.

Water Payments are due at the same time as taxes, and these bills are mailed quarterly. Delinquencies are determined based upon the date the payment is received in the office, not based upon the postmark.

Sewer Payments are due:

March 1st

June 1st

September 1st

December 1st

Someone is always available to receive payments during business hours, but if you would like to drop off a payment after hours there is a "lock box" to the right of the second set of doors inside the vestibule which is accessible 24 hours. If you'd like a receipt for such a payment, please include a self-addressed, stamped envelope.

The Annual Tax Sale is held pursuant to state statute for those properties that have prior year delinquent tax, water, and/or sewer balances. Every Municipality is required to hold an annual Tax Sale.

Veteran's forms and Senior Citizen deduction forms are available at the tax office. Please keep in mind that any Senior Citizen deduction is income based.

Remember ... prompt payment of taxes and utilities has a positive impact on future tax and utility rates!!
