The Mine Hill First Aid Squad

MINE HILL FIRST AID SQUAD

The Mine Hill First Aid Squad is a volunteer organization providing Emergency Medical Services to the citizens of Mine Hill, and –on a "mutual aid" basis – to the surrounding communities.

Members of the squad respond to the needs of our community 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, 365 days per year. There is never a charge for this service, the squad relies on the generous support of the residents, and various fund raising activities.

Squad members are dedicated Emergency Medical Technicians certified by the State of New Jersey. They attend monthly training sessions to keep their skills up to date, and re-certify as EMT's every 3 years as required by the State. Squad members are also required to re-certify on CPR each year.

New members are always welcome. If you are interested in joining this team of dedicated volunteers, stop by the Squad Headquarters at the rear of the Municipal Building on the 2nd Tuesday of any month between 7:30 PM and 9:00 PM and pick up an application. Or… call Edna Deacon at 973-366-6144 for additional information.
