NOTICE
The Township of Mine Hill has started a new recycling program. We will be accepting metal, including white goods, and electronic waste at our new facility located behind the Civic Center. The facility is for Mine Hill residents only and is under video surveillance!
Before leaving any material in the recycling dumpsters, please go to the Municipal Building Offices and register with Mary Williams. Appliances containing Freon carry a $15 charge each, payable in the Municipal Building. All other metal or electronic waste has no charge.
No Cardboard, Bottles, Cans, Plastic or Garbage Allowed.
Items accepted in the Electronic Waste Bin are computers, laptops, monitors, keyboards, mouse, cables, hard drives, scanners, printers, copiers, fax machines, televisions, telephones, cell phones, cameras, stereo equipment, and electronic scrap.
Items accepted in the Metal Bin are refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, stoves, scrap metal, copper, and household items containing more than 90% metal.
Pack items tightly towards the rear of the dumpsters. Please register with Mary Williams in the Municipal Building before leaving any recycling materials.
