Mine Hill Municipal Court - Hours of Operation

Hours of operation for the Mine Hill Municipal Court office are as follows: Monday thru Friday 9:00 am - 4:00 pm Court Sessions are held on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month, except as noted below.

Court Sessions begin promptly at 5:00pm. If you wish to speak to the Municipal Prosecutor you should arrive ahead of time at 4:00 p.m.

Mine Hill Municipal Court sessions are held on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month and begin promptly at 5:00 pm. The schedule for 2007 is listed below as a courtesy. Please note that the Court schedule is subject to change and your appearance is governed by the official notices you receive from the Court.

February 7 and February 21
March 7 and March 21
April 11 and April 25
May 2 and May 16
June 6 and June 20

December 5 and December 19

*Please note that due to holidays in July (Independence Day) and November (Thanksgiving) the calendar has been adjusted to the 2nd and 4th Wednesday

Inclement Weather Procedure

In the event of inclement weather you must call the Court, (973-366-7358 ext. #1), on your scheduled Court date to see if Court will be in session. DO NOT ASSUME THAT COURT IS CANCELLED or you may be cited for Failure to Appear. The determination will be made no later than 2:00 p.m. and will be stated on the voicemail recorded message. If court is cancelled due to the weather your case will be re-scheduled and you will be notified of your new date by mail.
